Can it really cool and achieve true refrigeration effect? Yes, this cooling backpack has been upgraded to achieve true cooling. Test data shows that at an ambient temperature of 77℉(25℃), the minimum temperature at the air outlet can reach 32℉(0℃) in cooling mode; in heating mode, the maximum temperature at the air outlet can reach 140℉(60℃).
How long does it take for items to reach refrigeration temperature? For canned drinks at room temperature (around 77℉), it takes about 2.5-3 hours to cool the product surface temperature to around 50℉(10℃) at an ambient temperature of 77℉(25℃). If you want rapid cooling, we recommend pre-cooling the items in a refrigerator or pre-cooling in the backpack before going out.
Can the cooling backpack keep ice from melting? It cannot prevent ice from melting completely, but only slow down the melting speed. Test data shows that at 77℉(25℃) ambient temperature, 50% of the ice melts in 4 hours when powered off, and 50% melts in 8 hours when powered on for cooling(Data is for reference only)
Can the cooling function reach below freezing? Can it freeze meat products? The cooling function cannot reach below freezing, and it cannot freeze any products.
Does the electric backpack cooler need power supply? What power supply methods does it support? It needs to be powered by a 12V DC power supply (car charger) or an AC-to-DC home charger; it also supports portable power station if available. The car charger and home power supply are standard accessories, while the outdoor power supply is not included.
Does the backpack cooler support power bank supply? Yes, it supports power bank supply, but only compatible with power banks with an output voltage of 12V and current of 10A. The power bank is not included in the product package. Please choose the power bank carefully—using one that does not meet the corresponding power requirements may cause excessive operating temperature and potential hazards.
Is the backpack cooler's main unit waterproof? Can it be used in rainy weather? The backpack's main unit has undergone overall waterproof treatment with a built-in waterproof circuit structure, which can resist splashing water but not submersion. It is not recommended to use it in rainy weather. If there is water at the power connection, please wipe it clean before use and keep the main unit dry and clean during operation.
How is the backpack's outer material waterproof effect? Can it be placed on wet ground? The backpack's outer material is PU leather with a waterproof coating, paired with sealed waterproof zippers. It is splash-proof and scratch-resistant, and can be directly placed on rough or wet surfaces such as grass, gravel, and shorelines.
What is the service life of the backpack's main unit? Do professional repairs required if it malfunctions? In principle, the backpack's main unit has no service life limit. It adopts semiconductor cooling technology with no complex mechanical structure, no refrigerant, no pollution, and no vibration. The product comes with a 1-year warranty (for non-human damage). If it is damaged beyond the warranty period, please contact customer service for after-sales support.
Will the backpack overcool or overheat during operation? Is there any potential safety hazard? The backpack's main unit is equipped with stably operating dual brushless motors and an overheat/overload protection program, and has obtained safety certifications such as CE and UL—there are no potential safety hazards. The recommended optimal ambient temperature for use is 0℃ (32℉) to 35℃ (95℉).
What are its capacity and weight? Is it suitable for single or multiple people? The net weight is 5.5 pounds (about 2.5 kg), suitable for 1-3 people for short-distance camping, self-driving trips, or office use. Its advantage is that it is very lightweight while achieving active cooling/heating. It is not suitable for professional and high-intensity outdoor mountaineering.
